We are two people who are wont to shove a favourite book into everyone’s hands, shouting “Read this!”.

Three combined decades spent working with and within the Indian publishing industry have given us lots of ideas on how the business of creating books can be made more rewarding for everyone involved, from creators to editors to readers. ​

 

Indian Summer Press is how we hope to bring all of those ideas, and those recommendations, to you.

You could say, for us, the jump from reading books to making them feels not just natural, but inevitable. 

 

Our aim is to develop and publish books that are well-crafted, thoughtfully designed, and — most importantly — a joy to read. 

 

And, as authors ourselves, we see writers and artists as our partners at every stage of the publishing process, from editorial development to marketing. 

 

This is not mere lip service, it is a cornerstone of our thinking and shapes our entire approach to publishing. An approach that will involve working closely with creators to develop concepts and ideas we are all excited by into books that readers will love and return to over and over again.
